Choices - Green Energy vs Fossil Fuel

This painting tells a story in two parts.

On one side, the world feels alive and hopeful. A clear blue sky stretches over green grass and wildflowers. A quiet stream winds through the landscape where a deer pauses for a drink. In the distance, wind turbines turn gently, blending into the horizon as a symbol of energy working in harmony with nature.

On the other side, the same world shows a different outcome. The land is barren and tired. A fossil fuel plant rises in the distance, sending thick smoke into a darkened sky. The stream runs murky, streaked with oil, and in the foreground rests the silent reminder of what has been lost.

The two scenes share the same space, divided only by the choices we make.

"Choices" is a reflection on the power we all hold. Every decision - how we produce energy, how we care for the land, how we think about the future - moves the world a little closer to one path or the other. The painting invites you to pause and consider which landscape we hope to leave behind.
