So excited this painting is DONE!

Well the painting part is done. There's always so much more to do... seal it with wax medium (2 - 3 layers, dry and buff it between), frame it, inventory it, label it, etc. Sometimes the process seems never ending.

Oh, and I've titled it... "Jackie Jackalope"

To carry that into my next cryptid paintings (yes, this is a series), maybe Theo Thunderbird, and Panna Panther!

What do you think?

This finished painting has been delivered to the Hearts 'n Flowers show. Starts Jan 26 - Reception is Friday Feb 2nd. It will be on display (and for sale) thru February. If it doesn't sell, it will also hang at the Myths & Memories Art Show I'm having with a friend, June/July 2024.
